Highlander (Japanese: ハイランダー Highlander) is a class that appears in the following games:
Overview
Highlanders thrive in the midst of battle, literally dedicating their life force into slaying their enemies. Every loss of health can trigger a Highlander to make an extra attack, so their battle fervor rises further as they trade blows. They are fiercely loyal to their comrades in arms, also spending life force on their behalf, and depend on allied healing to sustain the fight.

- Highlander was originally introduced in Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl as the starting class of The Protagonist in Story Mode. Other characters could only access the Highlander class by changing classes.
- The Protagonist's appearance is not available in any further releases.
- They returned in Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight as a regularly recruitable class in Classic Mode after picking up a DLC, which was available for free until 10 August 2015. The DLC introduces two female and male palettes.
- The class was brought forward again into Etrian Odyssey Nexus as a freely recruitable class.
