Fafnir (Japanese: ファフニール Fafnir) is a class that appears in the following games:
Overview
The Fafnir class is exclusive to the Story Mode protagonist, and the player cannot recruit generic Fafnir characters into their Guild. Capable of wielding swords or katanas with skills that use either weapon, the Fafnir's base kit looks somewhat underwhelming at a glance, with a similarly unremarkable stat spread. However, his true potential is based off his Transformation ability. Invoking his Force Boost doubles his health and gives him a significant boost to his attack power, on top of granting him access to unique skills that nobody else can access. Defeating certain bosses while progressing Story Mode also makes him learn transformation-exclusive skills, making his growth tied to story progression unlike most other classes.
As his performance is highly reliant on his Force Boost, he has several supportive skills that affect the rate his Force Gauge refills to maximize the frequency at which he can transform in-battle.
