See Forging for a breakdown of each icons' effect on the equipment. Every weapon sells for 40% of its purchase price.
See the Speed formula for how each weapon affects the party member's action speed.
Items with names in yellow are of limited stock. Instead of unlimited supply upon unlocking, the shop stocks one copy of that item for every set of its materials you sell to it, and can run out if you purchase too many without replenishing the materials.
Swords
Unless stated otherwise, Swords are only available to Hoplites, Prince/Princesses and Gladiators.
