EO3/South Sea/Skandalia Lighthouse

- Skandalia Lighthouse stands close to Armoroad. For years it had dutifully sent its light out to sea, but now it is only a nest of monstrous birds... -Sea Quest Description
This is the first point of interest you will find in the the South Sea, and serves as a tutorial puzzle regarding sea exploration and navigation.
- Take the Biscuits you start with. Sail immediately west to sight the Lighthouse. However, if you move into a tile two squares away from the Lighthouse, the monstrous bird atop it will attack and wreck your ship.
- Return to port and start a new expedition, sailing north to the first island on the right side. Now that you have noticed the Lighthouse, you will be given Dried Peas from the marines there. You can sail north to another island on the left to find that you can trade the old man something for some Armoroad Cedar.
- Equip Dried Peas and sail along the western side of the island you start at, or more specifically, sail west 4 spaces and south 3. Interact with the mountain and you will obtain some Armoroad Cedar.
- Sail back to the old man's island and acquire the Sheep Cheese, which is pretty costly but is a large mobility upgrade. You could go straight to the lighthouse now or find a better solution.
- Equip the Sheep Cheese. Sail west to the island. There should be some currents there, which should be pretty easy to maneuver. Sail around to the other side and sail into the current that is south 1 space from the current that leads you into the whirlpool and inspect the lighthouse.
Once you've reached the lighthouse, you are rewarded with the Foremast to increase your exploration range, and 500en.

The swallow's cowry
- By orders of my master, I have come to Armoroad in search of an item called the Swallow's Cowry.
- Legend tells of a rare bird that births it once in a hundred years.
- ...But Princess Kaguya will only marry my master if it is found, and I mean to do so.
Companion:
- Kirikaze (Level 7 Ninja, back row)
Kirikaze follows a simple strategy: Set up a clone with Bunshin/Ninpo: Double and then pepper the boss with normal attacks or Kagenui/Shadow Bind. Kirikaze and her clones each come with a Medica to top themselves off after the initial cloning, and are quite self-sufficient. The rest of the party can comprise of three front-liners and a back-line support.
Completing this quest for the first time earns you the Kirikaze Hood (Helmet, 3 DEF,
)
Stargazers
- All look to the stars and marvel at their power, but we Zodiacs have learned to harness it.
- The choice of star is key, and I'd like to view them from the top of a lighthouse to refine my skills.
Companions:
The star brothers are a competent damage-healer team. Castor will focus his Fire Star at the bird, while Pollux will keep his brother and your team in good shape. Each also has an Amrita if they start running dry. You can bring your own healers to cover for where Pollux falters, but otherwise three front-line damage dealers should suffice.
Completing this quest for the first time earns you Pollux's Records (Tome, 24 ATK,
)
A princess' trial
- My hometown is a kingdom far to the north. Our king is grand, our generals bright, our citizens noble.
- However, by royal tradition, I must hunt a fierce monster to display my strength! Will you help me?
Companions:
- Victoria (Level 6 Sovereign, front row)
- Benjamin (Level 4 Hoplite, front row)
- Albert (Level 4 Gladiator, front row)
Victoria and her royal guards form a coherent synergy. Victoria buffs, Benjamin guards, Albert smashes. Victoria tends to focus her buffs on the front row where her guards are. Fill out the remaining slots with your choice of back-line damage dealers or healers. You can also bring a front-line damage dealer (starting in one of the back slots) and switch them with Victoria so that they will receive her buffs.
Completing this quest for the first time earns you Albert's Mace (Club, 30 ATK,
)
