Error in Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City: The description is "Prerequisite for katana skills that raises katana damage dealt". Despite the game saying that it increases katana damage, it increases sword damage.

Support skills

Wild Swings ワイドエフェクト
Passive Skill Attack skills may cause splash damage to nearby enemies. Only affects single-target attack skills. Skills that may hit multiple enemies do not benefit from this skill. Only damages the enemies directly to the left and right of the original target. The game checks for the enemy on the left first. In the case of single target multi-hit skills, Wild Swings will only hit once for each side. Unlike normal instances of splash damage, no penalty is applied to damage inflicted to adjacent targets. Each activation provides additional Limit. Subclassing - If the user knows Double Action, Double Action activates before Wild Swings does.
